MILWAUKEE — Eleven individuals have been injured Saturday when an escalator malfunctioned at American Household Area in Milwaukee following the Brewers’ loss to the Chicago Cubs, a workforce official stated.
Six individuals have been hospitalized with non-life-threatening accidents and 5 others have been handled on the ballpark, in line with Tyler Barnes, the senior vice chairman of communications and affiliate operations for the Milwaukee Brewers.
The escalator’s malfunction resulted “in an elevated downward velocity,” Barnes stated in an announcement.
