Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan will star in a sequel to ‘Freaky Friday,’ which is now in manufacturing.

Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis are on set for “Freaky Friday 2.”
The 2 are reprising their roles of mom and daughter Anna and Tess Coleman, though the plot is generally being stored underneath wraps.
Disney did reveal some factors within the sequel, saying the film, “picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identification disaster. Anna now has a daughter of her personal and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two households merge, Tess and Anna uncover that lightning may certainly strike twice.”

Additionally starring within the sequel are Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao. Becoming a member of the solid are Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Sophia Hammons.
Lohan and Curtis have beforehand teased a sequel to their 2003 flip as a mother-daughter duo who change our bodies. That movie was a remake of a 1976 unique, which starred Jodie Foster because the daughter and Barbara Harris because the mother. The story is predicated on a 1972 novel “Freaky Friday” by Mary Rodgers.
