Louis Gossett Jr., the primary Black man to win a supporting actor Oscar and identified to hundreds of thousands because the voice of Half-Life 2’s vortigaunts, has died on the age of 87.
While the aliens have been voiced by Tony Todd in Episode Two and Half-Life: Alyx, the unique variations in Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode One have been voiced by Gossett.
