New Delhi: The basement of Rao IAS Teaching Middle within the capital was flooded after heavy rains on Saturday. Three UPSC candidates died after getting trapped in it. This teaching middle fees greater than Rs 1 lakh for its 9 to 10 month common research course. The scholars who died included Shreya Yadav of Ambedkar Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, Tanya Soni of Telangana and Nivin Delvin of Ernakulam, Kerala. The police have arrested the proprietor of the teaching middle and one other individual.

In response to the police, the Delhi Fireplace Division obtained details about waterlogging in Rao IAS Teaching Centre and Karol Bagh space at round 7 pm on Saturday night. It was reported that two or three college students had been trapped within the basement. On reaching the spot, they discovered the basement stuffed with water.
