The 49ers have restructured the contract of tight finish George Kittle, creating practically $10 million in wage cap area, Discipline Yates of ESPN reviews.
Kittle signed a five-year, $75 million contract with the 49ers in 2020, and his deal referred to as for him to make $13.4 million in base wage this season and rely $21.956 million towards the cap.
Kittle, 30, has caught 460 passes for six,274 yards and 37 touchdowns because the 49ers drafted him within the fifth spherical in 2017. He’s a five-time Professional Bowler and twice has made All-Professional.
He caught 65 passes for 1,020 yards and 6 touchdowns in 16 video games final season.
