However when experiences got here in from individuals many miles aside, it was apparent it was one thing a lot greater.

At about 3:55 p.m. native time, a SpaceX Falcon 9 was launched into sunny skies from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Area Power Station.
The Falcon 9 carried a SpaceX Dragon capsule loaded with greater than 6,000 kilos of cargo headed to the Worldwide Area Station. When the booster rocket separated from the capsule and returned to earth, it created sonic booms heard all through Lincoln Parish, north Louisiana, and plenty of components of the southern U. S.
It was the sixth time the booster had been used to launch a spacecraft. It landed again on the Cape Canaveral Area Power Station about eight minutes after liftoff, heralding its return to Earth with sonic booms.
