MONROE, LA – The ULM Jazz Ensemble presents “Let’s Groove Tonight” on Thursday, March 28 at 7:30
p.m. in Brown Auditorium, 4001 Desiard St. in Monroe. Under the route of Dr. Eric Siereveld the Jazz Ensemble will carry out alternatives
of the music you like from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. These up to date preparations
of pop hits could have you dancing within the aisles. Music from Stevie Marvel, Earth,
Wind & Hearth, Tower of Energy, The Beatles, Billy Joel, and extra will likely be featured on
this system. This can be a efficiency you gained’t wish to miss, and one you gained’t quickly
neglect!
Basic admission tickets are $5 on the door. ULM college students, college, and workers are
admitted free with their ULM ID.

ULM Jazz can be excited to host its Fourth Annual Jazz Pageant and Clinic on Saturday,
April thirteenth in Brown Auditorium.
The competition begins at 9:00 am, with ensembles performing each 45 minutes. There
is a live performance that includes the ULM Jazz Ensemble that includes Johannes Wallman, and awards
are taking place at 7:30 pm.
“It’s thrilling to host the 4th Annual ULM Jazz Clinic & Pageant right here on campus! Seeing
ensembles from all around the state congregate right here over our mutual love of this music
is humbling,” stated Eric Siereveld, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of the
ULM Jazz Ensemble. “And this 12 months, having the wonderful pianist/composer/educator Johannes
Wallmann as our visitor artist and clinician is a particular honor for us and the collaborating
ensembles. I hope people from the neighborhood be a part of us all through the day and particularly
for the night live performance that includes Johannes as a composer and performer.”
