New Delhi: The Central Authorities on Tuesday appointed 1992 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer B Srinivasan as the brand new Director Common of the Nationwide Safety Guard (NSG). 1992 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer B Srinivasan will exchange Nalin Prabhakar. Nalin Prabhakar has now been appointed because the Particular Director Common of Police of Jammu and Kashmir.
What did the federal government say in its order?
An order of the Personnel Ministry stated that the Appointments Committee of the Cupboard has authorised the appointment of Srinivasan because the Director Common of NSG. His appointment will likely be from the date of assuming cost until 31 August 2027 i.e. until the date of his retirement.
Nalin Prabhat will get new duty
Prabhakar, a 1992 batch IPS officer from Andhra Pradesh, is about to take over as Particular DG of Jammu and Kashmir Police after RR Swain retires on September 30. The Centre has curtailed the tenure of NSG Director Common Nalin Prabhakar and organized his inter-cadre deputation from Andhra Pradesh to Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre for 3 years.
