Goal is making a serious change to how prospects pay for items on the retailer.
Beginning this month, the Minnesota-based retailer says it would now not settle for private checks as a type of cost, a spokesperson confirmed to NBC Chicago.
The transfer was made because of “extraordinarily low volumes,” the spokesperson mentioned, including that the retailer has taken “a number of measures” to inform prospects prematurely.
The change will go into impact July 15, a number of days after Goal’s widespread Circle Week occasion.
In response to the spokesperson, Goal accepts a number of types of cost, together with Goal Circle Playing cards, money, digital wallets, SNAP/EBT, credit score and debit playing cards, and purchase now-pay later companies.
The transfer comes following different latest modifications Goal has made, together with including limitations to the retailer’s self-checkout coverage.
