Ryan Garcia has been expelled by the World Boxing Council (WBC) following a social media livestream the place he repeatedly used racist and discriminatory language towards Black folks and Muslims, per the Related Press.
“Exercising my authority as president of the WBC, I’m hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any exercise with our group,” WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman posted on X, previously often known as Twitter.

Garcia posted a type of apology to X however has since deleted the put up.

Garcia’s household launched a press release following his expulsion from the WBC citing the boxer’s psychological well being points, per ESPN.
