NEW YORK (AP) — A Delta flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was diverted to New York’s Kennedy Airport on Wednesday after passengers have been served spoiled meals, airline officers stated.The redeye flight took off from Detroit round 11 p.m. Tuesday and landed in New York at 4 a.m. “after studies {that a} portion of the Important Cabin in-flight meal service have been spoiled,” a Delta spokesperson stated in a press release. A spokesperson for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which runs the airport, stated 14 of the airplane’s 277 passengers in addition to 10 crew members have been handled by medical personnel when the flight landed. None of them required hospitalization.It was not clear how many individuals in complete ate the spoiled meals. Delta stated it will examine the incident.“This isn’t the service Delta is thought for and we sincerely apologize to our clients for the inconvenience and delay of their travels,” the Delta spokesperson stated.The Port Authority stated passengers have been being supplied with lodge rooms and that every one can be rebooked to proceed to their locations.
