NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — Delta Airways says a flight from Detroit to Amsterdam needed to divert to JFK Airport early Wednesday morning after passengers had been served spoiled meals.Delta Flight 136 was en route from Detroit to The Netherlands when a few of the in-flight meal service was found to have been spoiled.The flight with 277 prospects onboard, landed safely at round 4 a.m.Emergency medical responders met the flight and handled 12 passengers, the Hearth Division of New York stated.It was not clear how lots of the flight’s 277 passengers ate the spoiled meals.Delta is investigating how the meals was spoiled.They launched an announcement saying: “Delta flight 126 from Detroit to Amsterdam diverted to New York’s JFK early Wednesday morning after it was found {that a} portion of the in-flight meal service was spoiled. Medical crews had been on-site to satisfy the plane and deal with any affected passengers and crew members. Delta groups will instantly work to collect info into how this incident occurred.
