The zoo introduced Saturday that Boboo, pronounced Bah-boo, was humanely euthanized on Friday.
Boboo, who was 8-years-old, was anesthetized Friday morning for an examination attributable to speedy weight reduction, intermittent curiosity in meals and progressive lethargy.
