Richard Simmons is sorry if he set off some alarms.
The aerobics icon is apologizing to followers after confusion arose about his well-being over a March 18 message he wrote about well being that mentioned he is “dying.”
“Sorry lots of you could have gotten upset about my message right now,” the Simmons wrote on X (previously generally known as Twitter) March 18. “Even the press has gotten in contact with me. I’m not dying.”
As a substitute, Simmons mentioned his authentic message was “about saying how we must always embrace daily that we’ve got” and apologized for the confusion, signing off with, “Love, Richard.”
Simmons’ clarification got here hours after the 75-year-old posted a uncommon message motivating followers to handle themselves.
“I’ve some information to let you know. Please do not be unhappy. I’m ….dying,” he wrote on X. “Oh I can see your faces now. The reality is all of us are dying. Daily we reside we’re getting nearer to our demise.”
